Cranial Expansion AND KIDS ALIVE Announce Partnership
May 4, 2005 – MARKHAM, ON – Cranial Expansion today announced
a partnership with Kids Alive International (KAI) to develop an
online version of KAI’s global policy manual. Through development
of an interactive online training course, instead of paper-based
manuals, KAI will be able to deliver more compelling content, more
cost-effectively, to all its representatives in the field. The
finished course will be deployed on CD-ROM to all field representatives,
and will also be available through the Kids Alive website, providing
a simple, efficient mechanism for disseminating policies and information.
Through integration of images, animation, and audio voiceover,
the course will provide an engaging learning experience for all
participants, regardless of literacy level.
“Cranial Expansion is very excited to be working with Kids Alive
on this project” noted Mark Murrell, Cranial Expansion Principal
Consultant. “Online training is ideally suited to situations
where participants are spread across great distances, and the interactive
multimedia format allows for a learning experience that doesn’t
require great language skills. Kids Alive has shown tremendous
vision with this initiative”.
Scott Forbes, Executive Director of Kids Alive Canada added,
“Cranial Expansion is an answer to our prayers for an innovative
and cost
effective approach to training that meets the needs of our
ministries in 12 developing countries. We are excited by the potential
of
this project and by the total cooperation we have received
from Cranial Expansion”.
